Brooklyn’s Sweet Soubrette is a ukulele-powered indie rock band with dark, poetic lyrics, songs that tell stories, and lush instrumentation. Featuring the songwriting, vocals and ukulele of Ellia Bisker and a talented backing band, whose members include Heather Cole (violin), Lyndol Descant (keys/backing vox), Erin Rogers (sax/horn arrangements), Cecil Scheib (trombone), Bob Smith (bass), Darrell Smith (drums), and John Waters (trumpet). Past band members include Mike Dobson (drums) and Stacy Rock(keys/backing vox).
